The oral and written narrative language skills of adolescent students in youth detention and the impact of language disorder

Throughout this study, the macrostructure and microstructure elements in the oral and written narrative texts of 24 adolescent students of a youth detention centre was examined. This research was prompted by the idea that language and literacy needs are commonly unmet within the youth justice system.

What people are saying on social networking sites about the Australian alcohol consumption guidelines?

This study explored whether social networking site posts can be used as a source of feedback during public consultation for guidelines. The team aimed to collect posts on social networking sites (Twitter and Reddit) related to the Australian alcohol guidelines, identifying factors such as which guideline recommendations the public were interested in.
