I undertook a Churchill Fellowship in 2009 and visited agencies, clinics and services in Canada and the US, including several diagnostic clinics. I attended two-day training with Donna Debolt in Alberta. Since that time I have conducted research into FASD in the NT child protection program, conducted training for child protection, youth justice and allied health workers in the NT and Victoria, and provided consultancy. I specialise in case planning and risk assessment for children and young people with FASD particularly in the Out of Home Care system. I was involved in the establishment of the Victorian Fetal Alcohol Service (VicFAS) at Monash Children's Hospital and work as a clinical social worker.
