FASD experience and training

PATCHES Paediatrics was established in 2012 to provide FASD diagnostic services in 'hard to reach populations and places'. We have grown into a statewide service in WA metropolitan and rural/remote communities, and have services across Australia. Our multidisciplinary teams have conducted over 250 FASD assessments, including in the justice system and child protection systems. We are a registered therapy provider through the NDIS and offer FASD-specific therapy and support programs. Our teams offer professional development and training in FASD diagnosis and therapy. All of our clinicians have trained in FASD assessment, including at the University of Washington (USA). We have partnered with the University of Western Australia to develop a Graduate Certificate in FASD Assessment and Diagnosis.
