APSAD 2025
Disrupting & Deconstructing approaches to drug policy, research and practice
Date: Sunday 9 – Wednesday 12 November 2025
Location: International Convention Centre Sydney, Gadigal, Australia
The APSAD Conference is Australasia’s premier event for professionals in the alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD) sector. It serves as a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, clinicians, policymakers, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience to share knowledge, discuss emerging issues, and advance best practices in addiction treatment, harm reduction, and policy development.
The 2025 conference aims to critically examine and challenge traditional approaches to ATOD issues by elevating Indigenous perspectives and addressing the colonial legacies that have shaped current systems. The program will feature contributions from First Nations leaders, researchers, and community members, fostering a space for diverse voices and culturally grounded solutions.
