AAAH Members‑Only Consultation with the Federal Department of Health, Disability and Ageing – FASD Focus
Date: Thursday 26 February 2026
Location: Online. Once registered, members will be provided with a Teams link.
The Australian Association for Adolescent Health (AAAH) hosts regular members‑only consultations with the Australian Government’s Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. These consultations take place every couple of months and provide a unique opportunity for AAAH members to engage directly with both AAAH and the Department on priority topics.
This consultation will focus specifically on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The session will include presentations and discussion with representatives from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, as well as contributions from Professor Elizabeth Elliott and Dr Fiona Robards.
This is an inclusive and interactive forum, and AAAH members are warmly encouraged to participate, share their perspectives, and speak directly with both AAAH and Department representatives. These consultations play an important role in ensuring sector expertise and lived experience inform national policy and program development.
Please note that this event is strictly for AAAH members. While anyone is welcome to join AAAH, only members receive access to consultation invitations and event details via the AAAH members mailing list.
