FASD experience and training

Louisa works with several people with FASD who are NDIS participants. Louisa uses the Australian Guide to the Diagnosis of FASD, Vineland, MIGDAS, DISCO, SRS-2 and has completed ADOS-2, ADI-R training through Uni Melb's "Mindful" for assisting with assessing cooccurring conditions. Louisa is a trained trauma specialist. She provides holistic, person-centred assessments and interventions, including working with family/carers, schools/workplaces, child protection. justice system to assist with psychoeducation, implementing positive behaviour support and improving outcomes. She worked collaboratively with all stakeholders in that person's life. Louisa has received FASD-specific education both online and face-to-face, including a Masters Degree (Melbourne University), FASD Hub eLearning Modules, Executive Functioning Assessment Tools (including ADOS-2, ADI-R, SRS-2, which identify aspects of FASD such as Executive Functioning, cooccurrence with ASD/ADHD).
