Knowledge and practices of health professionals concerning alcohol consumption during pregnancy

“If you can have one glass of wine now and then, why are you denying that to a woman with no evidence”

This study explores the advice that health professionals provide to pregnant women about alcohol consumption, including their knowledge about the effects of alcohol. Results showed health professionals had adequate knowledge about the impacts. However, knowledge of FASD and its associated difficulties was limited.
