Prenatal alcohol exposure and attention, learning and intellectual ability at 14 years: a prospective longitudinal study

This study examined the effects of moderate levels of alcohol consumption during pregnancy on 14 year-old children's intellectual ability, learning and attention. Effects were found in children of mothers who consumed more than a glass of alcohol a day. In addition, exposure late in  late pregnancy was associated with increased  learning difficulties.
